Acceptable Use Policy

Vidshift lets you put characters into motion — fictional characters, your own personas, or real people who have given you permission. The following uses are prohibited and will result in account suspension:

• Impersonating a real person without their consent, including public figures, or presenting generated video as authentic footage of a real person.
• Any sexual or suggestive content involving a real person's likeness.
• Any content depicting minors inappropriately, generated or otherwise.
• Harassment, defamation, or deceptive content targeting any individual.
• Content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours.
• Circumventing credit metering, rate limits, or free-tier restrictions (including bulk account creation).

Every character-swap job records your confirmation that you hold the necessary rights to the likenesses involved. Model providers additionally apply their own content moderation; blocked generations are refunded.
